Polypropylene

Polypropylene (PP) is with 20% resin share next to polyethylene the most widely used polymer in the EU27+3.  Polypropylene is the collective term for different types of polypropylene:

• Polypropylene homopolymer (PPH) 
  
• Polypropylene copolymers (PPC) 
• Polypropylene random copolymer (PPR)

PP Impact copolymers are copolymers with an improved impact resistance due to a higher ethylene content.
