EURASIACORP was already a distributor for QCP BV, a start-up for high-quality mechanically recycled HDPE and PP, in the past. This was based on the belief that recycled polymers can be a more sustainable alternative to virgin polymers. Due to a change in ownership EURASIACORP lost the distributorship but did not lose belief in mechanically recycled polymers.
Virgin polymers are mandatory for food-approved applications but recycled resins can be used for various non-food applications.
Next to the Post-Consumer-based HDPE solutions from TotalEnergies and Chevron Phillips we can also provide Post-Consumer Waste-based recycled PE, PP, HIPS, ABS and PET.
With the acquisition of MATCO PLASTICS (Wielsbeke, Belgium) in June 2022 we also added in-house recycling completing our sustainable portfolio with Post-Industrial Waste-based PE, PP and HIPS.
EURASIACORP is also the exclusive distributor for Healix in the Benelux. Healix is a recycling company based in Maastricht, the Netherlands, which started production end of 2021. Healix recycles post-consumer agricultural waste like baler twine into recycled PPH which can be used to replace virgin PP in non-food applications.
